Marble kitchen worktop fitted around a range oven

Kitchen Worktops

Kitchen worktops made to the millimetre

Granite, marble, quartz and solid surfaces, templated in your kitchen and cut in our Ipswich workshop. Typically fitted 8 working days later.

Why stone

The right worktop outlives the kitchen around it

A kitchen worktop takes more punishment than any other surface in the house: hot pans, knives, spills, school mornings. Stone handles it. Granite is nearly impossible to damage permanently, quartz is non-porous and needs no sealing, and marble brings a depth of colour nothing engineered quite matches. We help you weigh the trade-offs honestly, then cut the slab you choose to fit your kitchen exactly.

Because we fabricate in-house rather than reselling someone else's work, you deal with the same team from first measure to final polish. Off-cuts, repairs and future alterations all come back to the same workshop on Farthing Road.

Our Process

Template, fabricate, fit: about 8 working days

We start with a Corex template made in your kitchen, so every cut-out for sinks, hobs and edges is measured against reality rather than a drawing. Your slab is then cut, moulded and polished at our workshop, and fitted by our own installers. Most kitchens go from template to fitted worktop in around 8 working days.

Want to choose the exact slab? Our suppliers welcome visits, and reserved slabs are delivered straight to us to be worked.

In The Workshop

Watch a worktop take shape

Forty-six seconds inside the workshop: sawing, edge moulding and hand polishing. This is the part most worktop companies outsource. We never have.

Materials

Granite, quartz, marble or solid surface?

Each material suits a different kitchen and budget. Granite for hard-wearing natural stone, quartz for low-maintenance consistency, marble for character, and Corian, Hanex or Tristone for seamless joins and moulded sinks. Prefer timber? See our De Terra wood worktops.
