Case Study in Norwich
Brief: Kitchen work tops created for Mr & Mrs. Mayhew. This customer had been disappointed as their first choice of a light-coloured quartz stone was out of stock. The couple visited the showroom to look for alternative options.
While in the showroom, they spotted a unique granite display called Cosmic Black. Quarried in Brazil, this type of material has stunning streaks of gold, white and mocha bands running through a dark slab.
When we ordered the slabs required, we invited the couple to come back to position templates on the granite so that they can visualise make the most of the patterns in the stone.
Summary Of Our Work

Granite is cut to the shape of the templates.

Each piece once cut, is moved into the workshop for shaping and polishing.

Once all production of the slabs and upstands are finished, they are taken to site to be installed.

Once we've checked that all pieces fit perfectly the finishing touches are started, including applying silicon seal, polishing, adjusting edges and fitting upstands.

Finally, we cleaned up and left the kitchen area tidy for the homeowner.

This was a great example of something going wrong but with some lateral thinking, we achieved a much better result for the couple.
